1 – lower insert of the radical bearing of a bent shaft;
2 – top insert of the radical bearing of a bent shaft;
3 – top thrust bearing of a bent shaft;

6 - lower thrust bearing of a bent shaft;
7 – cover of the radical bearing of a bent shaft;
8 – bolt, 55–60 N • m.

Removal

PERFORMANCE ORDER
1. Take off a gear belt, a forward cover, a flywheel and the oil pallet.
2. Remove a back cover from the block of cylinders and a back sealing ring of a bent shaft.
3. Turn off nuts and uncover rods.
4. Turn out bolts and uncover radical bearings of a bent shaft.
5. Remove a rotor of the sensor of an angle of rotation of a bent shaft.

Prevention

Mark covers of radical bearings of a bent shaft to install them on the places and in the same situation.



Check

PERFORMANCE ORDER
1. Check necks of radical and conrod bearings of a bent shaft for lack of wear and development. Check lubricant openings of a bent shaft for lack of a contamination.
2. Measure by a micrometer diameters of necks of a bent shaft in two opposite directions. In the presence of development or ovality to a pereshlifuyta a bent shaft. You carry out regrinding of necks of a bent shaft only to the following repair size. If a bent shaft перешлифован on the repair size of +0,50 mm, carry out heat treatment of a shaft for increase in its durability.

Diameter of radical necks of a bent shaft: 50 mm
Diameter of conrod 45 mm
Ovality and conicity of necks of a bent shaft: no more than 0,01 mm

3. Check connecting and radical rods for lack of local corrosion, development and other damages. If necessary, replace inserts.

Measurement of a gap of radical and conrod bearings

For measurement of a gap of radical and conrod bearings measure diameters of necks of a bent shaft and the corresponding internal diameters of bearings. The size of a gap is a difference between the internal diameter of the bearing and the corresponding diameter of a neck of a bent shaft.

Gap of radical bearings No. 1, 2, 4, 5 of a bent shaft: 0,028–0,045 mm
Gap of the radical bearing No. 3 of a bent shaft: 0,034–0,520 mm
Gap of conrod bearings of a bent shaft: 0,024–0,042 mm

Measurement of a gap of radical and conrod bearings with use of the plastic calibrated Plastigage core

PERFORMANCE ORDER
1. Clear radical and conrod necks of a bent shaft of lubricant, and blow lubricant openings compressed air.
2. Install inserts of radical bearings on the block of cylinders of the engine. Install a bent shaft on inserts of radical bearings in the block of cylinders. Establish the remained inserts of radical bearings in covers of radical bearings of a bent shaft. Arrange pieces of a plastic measuring core of Plastigage on necks of radical bearings of a bent shaft.
3. According to marking establish covers of radical bearings. In a certain sequence tighten bolts of fastening of covers of radical bearings of a bent shaft. Do not turn a bent shaft of the engine at measurement of a gap of radical bearings of a bent shaft. Turn out bolts and uncover radical bearings of a bent shaft. Measure by a measuring template width of the deformed plastic core of Plastigage and determine gap size.
4. If the gap exceeds maximum permissible value, a pereshlifuyta of a neck of a bent shaft and use repair inserts of the increased size.

Oil sealing rings

Check lobbies and back oil sealing rings for absence of damage or wear of working edges. With any defects replace a sealing ring.

Rotor of the sensor of an angle of rotation of a bent shaft

PERFORMANCE ORDER
1. Remove a rotor of the sensor of an angle of rotation of a bent shaft.
2. Check a rotor of the sensor of an angle of rotation of a bent shaft for absence of damage, cracks and wear and replace if it is necessary.
3. Check a gap between a rotor of the sensor of an angle of rotation of a bent shaft and the sensor of an angle of rotation of a bent shaft.

Gap between a rotor of the sensor of an angle of rotation of a bent shaft and the sensor of an angle of rotation of a bent shaft: 0,5–1,0 mm

PERFORMANCE ORDER

Prevention

Measure depth of installation of the sensor, i.e. distance from the top part of teeths of a rotor of the sensor of an angle of rotation of a bent shaft to outer side of a cover.


Calculate a difference between length of the sensor of an angle of rotation of a bent shaft and depth of its installation.

Installation

PERFORMANCE ORDER
1. Install the top inserts of radical bearings on the block of cylinders of the engine. At repeated installation of inserts establish them on the same place in which they were before removal.
2. Before installation of a bent shaft apply a thin film of pure engine oil on all surfaces of sliding. Install a bent shaft on inserts of radical bearings in the block of cylinders.
3. Establish the remained inserts of radical bearings in covers of radical bearings of a bent shaft. According to marking establish covers of radical bearings of a bent shaft, at the same time the arrow on each cover has to be directed to a pulley of a bent shaft. In a certain sequence for 2 or 3 stages tighten bolts of fastening of covers of radical bearings of a bent shaft in the following order: central, No. 2, No. 4, forward and back.

Inhaling moment:
Covers of radical bearings: 55–60 N • m
Covers of conrod bearings: 32–35 N • m

4. Turn a bent shaft and check that it rotates easily and smoothly. Establish a measuring tip of the indicator of hour type on a forward end face of a bent shaft. Move a bent shaft along an axis against the stop and establish a scale of the indicator of hour type on zero. Move a bent shaft along an axis to other party against the stop and read values of an axial side play on an indicator scale.

Axial side play of a bent shaft: 0,050–0,175 mm

5. Grease an external surface of a new back sealing ring with engine oil. Establish by the special tool 09231-22000 a sealing ring against the stop in a nest of a back cover.
6. Establish a cover of a sealing ring, laying and tighten 5 bolts. At installation grease working edges and an external surface of a sealing ring with pure engine oil.
7. Establish a back cover and fix it by bolts.
8. Establish covers of rods.
9. Establish a flywheel, a forward cover, the oil pallet and a gear belt.
