Removal

Prevention

Gasoline is explosive therefore during the work with elements of fuel system provide normal ventilation of a workplace, do not use fire, the sparking devices opened by fire-dangerous light devices and you do not smoke.
Before removal of the fuel tank, merge from it fuel. Clear the fuel tank of fuel vapors.
Uncover a toplivonalivny mouth of the fuel tank to level pressure in a tank with atmospheric pressure.


PERFORMANCE ORDER
1. Remove a pillow of back sitting and disconnect the socket of the fuel pump.

Prevention

Do not disconnect from the fuel tank the fuel filter, except a case of its replacement.


2. Weaken collars and disconnect hoses of giving and return of fuel from the fuel tank.
3. Disconnect a bulk hose and a wide hose from the basis of a bulk hose.
4. After removal of protection and tapes of fastening of the fuel tank lower the fuel tank a little and disconnect the socket from the fuel level sensor.
5. Remove the fuel tank.

Prevention

Close all opened openings of the fuel tank to exclude an exit from a tank of vapors of fuel.
Even in the empty fuel tank there are fuel vapors which are explosive therefore be careful. Provide normal ventilation of a workplace, do not use fire, the sparking devices opened by fire-dangerous light devices and you do not smoke. As soon as possible clear the fuel tank of fuel vapors.



Check


Check a state and with defects replace the following elements.

PERFORMANCE ORDER
1. The damaged fuel tank. In the presence of leak of fuel from a tank clear a tank and check it for existence of traces of a rust, damages and cracks. The fuel tank damaged or treated to corrosion action needs to be replaced.

Prevention

When cleaning an internal surface of the fuel tank do not use means which can damage a protective layer.


2. Internally polluted, deformed, damaged or rusty fuel-supply line.
3. The damaged laying in the top part of the fuel tank.
4. Check operability of the double-thread valve, blowing it from two parties. If air passes hardly, so the valve is serviceable.

Installation

PERFORMANCE ORDER
1. Install the fuel tank and fix it by tapes until it concerns the car bottom.
2. Connect all hoses and pipes to the fuel tank, at the same time do not mix them in places.
3. Slowly pull a tube of supply of fuel over the filter installed in a tank and reliably fix it.
