8.2. Adjustment of a pedal of coupling

PERFORMANCE ORDER
1. Measure distance from a forward surface of a pedal to a carpet. A hand press a coupling pedal before emergence of notable resistance and measure the size of a free wheeling.

Free wheeling of a pedal of coupling: 1–3 mm
2. If the free wheeling of a pedal of coupling does not correspond to the required value, adjust it as follows:

– weaken a lock-nut and, rotating a bolt, adjust a free wheeling of a pedal of coupling, then tighten a lock-nut;

Prevention

After adjustment tighten a bolt until it reaches a pedal emphasis, then tighten a lock-nut.


– rotate a pusher before achievement of the required free wheeling, then tighten a lock-nut.

Prevention

At adjustment of height of installation or a free wheeling of a pedal of coupling be careful not to move a pusher to the main cylinder of coupling.


3. After completion of adjustments check that the distance from a coupling pedal to a floor at the pressed pedal corresponds to the required value.

Free wheeling of a pedal of coupling (And): 1–3 mm
Distance from a coupling pedal to a floor at the pressed pedal (In): 90 mm

4. If it is impossible to adjust height of installation and a free wheeling of a pedal of coupling, perhaps in hydraulic system of the drive of coupling there is an air or the main cylinder of coupling is faulty. In this case remove air or sort and check the main cylinder of coupling.

PUMPING OF HYDRAULIC SYSTEM OF THE DRIVE OF COUPLING


Any hydraulic system works normally if air is removed from it.
Prevention

During removal of air add only pure liquid recommended by the manufacturer.
The liquid used in the hydraulic drive dissolves paint and plastic therefore at hit of liquid on a paint and varnish covering of the car wash out its large number waters.


PERFORMANCE ORDER
1. Weaken the union of pumping and attach to it a hose. Arrange other end of a hose in the glass capacity of sufficient volume.
2. Slowly press a coupling pedal.
3. At the pressed pedal of coupling weaken the union of pumping and let out the air from hydraulic system. Tighten the union of pumping and release a coupling pedal.
4. Repeat operations until there is a brake fluid without vials of air.

Prevention

Bystry repeated pressing of a pedal of coupling in the field of B–C can lead to a pusher exit from the coupling cylinder case during pumping. It is necessary to press a coupling pedal only after its return to the top situation (A).



CONDUCTED AND PRESS CLUTCH PLATES

Coupling

1 – coupling switching off fork;
2 – coupling switching off bearing;
3 – bolt, 15–22 N • m;
4 – press clutch plate;
5 – the conducted clutch plate.

PERFORMANCE ORDER
1. Merge oil from the transmission and brake fluid from the hydraulic drive of coupling.
2. Remove the transmission.
3. Establish a mandrel 09411-11000dlya centerings of a clutch plate which in this case will exclude falling of the conducted clutch plate.
4. Gradually on diagonal weaken coupling fastening bolts assembled, turning each bolt on? a turn until it is terminated a diaphragm spring, and bolts can be unscrewed manually. Remove a casing of coupling with a press disk and a clutch plate.

Prevention

Do not clear solvent a clutch plate or the bearing of switching off of coupling.
It is desirable to remove a flywheel and to check a back sealing ring of a bent shaft for lack of leaks. If necessary, replace a sealing ring.

PERFORMANCE ORDER
1. Check a diaphragm spring in places of contact with the bearing of switching off of coupling for lack of wear, cracks and define distinction of height of the ends of a diaphragm spring. With defects replace a casing of coupling with a press disk.

Distinction of height of the ends of a diaphragm spring: 0,5 mm
2. Check press a disk for lack of cracks, a prigar and wear of a surface.
3. Check reliability of rivet connections.

Check of a clutch plate


PERFORMANCE ORDER
1. Check reliability of rivet connections of frictional slips to a clutch plate. With defects replace a clutch plate.
2. Check a vystupaniye of frictional slips over heads of rivets. If the vystupaniye is less than admissible, replace a clutch plate.

Vystupaniye: 1,1 mm

3. Check a condition of frictional overlays of a clutch plate and in the presence traces of oil or mechanical damages replace a clutch plate with them.
4. Clear vents of a main shaft of the transmission and establish a clutch plate on a shaft. If the clutch plate moves on a shaft hardly or too big gap in shlitsevy connection, replace a clutch plate and / or an entrance shaft.

Check of the bearing of switching off of coupling
Prevention

The bearing of switching off of coupling is tight, and it cannot be washed out.


PERFORMANCE ORDER
1. Check a condition of the bearing of switching off of coupling which has to rotate easily, evenly and silently and in it there has to be no side play. The working surface of the bearing influencing a press spring has to be smooth, without cracks, local corrosion or development.
2. The faulty bearing of switching off of coupling can be defined, without removing it from the car for what it is necessary to press a coupling pedal at the working engine. If when pressing a pedal of coupling additional noise appears, so the bearing of switching off of coupling is faulty, and it needs to be replaced.

Check of a fork of switching off of coupling

PERFORMANCE ORDER
If there is an uneven wear in points of contact of a fork of switching off of coupling with the bearing, replace a coupling switching off fork.

Installation

PERFORMANCE ORDER
1. Apply lubricant on the surfaces of contact of the bearing, cylinder and fork of switching off of coupling.

Prevention

At installation of coupling apply lubricant on all mobile connections of details, but do not use excessive amount of lubricant as it can lead to coupling pro-slipping.


2. Apply lubricant in deepening of the bearing of switching off of coupling.

Lubricant: CASMOLY L9508

3. Apply lubricant on the surfaces of contact of a support of a fork of switching off of coupling.

Lubricant: CASMOLY L9508
4. A fine-grained emery paper clear surfaces of a flywheel and a press disk and be convinced that all abrasive material and lubricant are removed from the cleared surfaces.
5. Apply lubricant on vents of a clutch plate and a main shaft of the transmission.

Lubricant: CASMOLY L9508
6. Establish a clutch plate and center it a special mandrel 09411-11000. At installation of a clutch plate the disk surface having marking has to settle down from a press disk.
7. Establish a casing of coupling with a press disk on the directing flywheel pins.
8. Gradually, in the diagonal sequence and in a certain order, tighten bolts of fastening of a flywheel.

Inhaling moment: the 15-22nd

9. Remove the mandrel aligning a clutch plate.
10. Install the transmission.
11. Adjust a free wheeling of a pedal of coupling.
